CESAM (Sweden) ”Centre for community development and local mobilisation” (CESAM) is a national foundation. CESAM operates as a national support unit for statutory, private and voluntary bodies in the field of community development.

The Christian Student Settlement (Denmark) The Christian Student Settlement (CSS) is a local-based volunteer NGO, working with community development as well a as with learning and activation programs for long-termed unemployed citizens, who also have other social and learning difficulties, for instance isolated, unskilled migrant women from ethnic minorities and elderly men, migrants, living single.

The Civil College Foundation (Hungary) The Civil College Foundation (CCF) is a nationwide, adult education organizationwhich organizes practical training for citizens willing to act, the members of self-organizing communities, and the participants of community work and community development vocational training programmes.

Fundació Desenvolupament Comunitari (Catalonia/Spain) Fundació Desenvolupament Comunitari (DC) is a social economics organization with fourteen years experience in the field of public policies on social development. More specifically, our actions are focused on the fields of intercultural relations, citizen participation, community mediation, equal opportunities and accessibility.

The Ideas Bank Foundation (Norway) The Ideas Bank works in the field of sustainable community development and social innovations – primarily at the national level. The learners we are reaching represent administrators in municipalities, politicians, different educational institutions both formal and non-formal, citizens and different organisations in the civil society.

The Romanian Association for Community Development (Romania) The Romanian Association for Community Development (RACD) is a NGO registered in Romania in 1999. The general purpose is to contribute to the building of a strong civil society by backing and working with poor or/and disadvantaged communities from Eastern Europe, so they can rely on their own resources and enjoy collective welfare.

Unit for Sustainability, Sagene district, The City of Oslo (Norway) The District of Sagene, within the City of Oslo municipal administration, has established the Unit for sustainability as part of the Department of community and cultural affairs. The Unit for Sustainability manages the Sagene Community Center (meeting place and information center for the citizens of the district) run by the municipality. The unit for sustainability also manages 21 local parks in the district, where several different participation and development projects has been carried out.
